'Rocky Handsome' low opening day; Punjabi film 'Ambarsariya' records a flying Start

John Abraham's action drama "Rocky Handsome" was released on Good Friday holiday, but the film failed to translate the holiday buzz into a good opening day at the box office. On the other hand, Punjabi film "Ambarsariya" registered a strong first day

Punjabi film starring Diljit Dosanjh had a bumper opening in India and in the international markets. The film, which was released in Punjab and National Capital Region, minted Rs 2.1 crore from Indian markets. The film also raked in Rs 99.39 lakh from the overseas box office.

The romantic comedy, which has received positive response, minted £ 28,213 (Rs 26.65 lakh) from the UK-Ireland box office, A$ 104,269 (Rs 52.33 lakh) from Australia and NZ$ 45,649 (Rs 20.41 lakh) from New Zealand.
